Peacefully at Burnside Care Home, Laurencekirk on Wednesday January 6th 2016, Lorna, aged 83 years, (formerly of The Firs, Garvock Street) beloved wife of the late Ian, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law to Lesley and Alex, Karen and Alan, Louise and David and devoted grandmother of Laura, Ian, Emma and Aimee.

Funeral service at Laurencekirk Parish Church on Tuesday 12th January at 11.00 a.m., thereafter to Laurencekirk Cemetery, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired will be gratefully accepted at the church for Alzheimer’s Scotland.

Peacefully after a short illness bravely borne, at Arbroath Infirmary on Monday January 4th 2016, Evie (nee Abel), aged 89 years, formerly of Johnston Road, Laurencekirk. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim, loving mother to Jimmy, dear mother-in-law to Chris, a cherished granny of Adele and Scott, devoted great-granny of Cassie, Charlie and Neve, dear sister to Meg. Evie will be sadly missed by all family and friends.

Funeral service at Laurencekirk Parish Church on Monday 11th January at 1.00 p.m., thereafter to Laurencekirk Cemetery to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired will be gratefully accepted at the church for Chest, Heart and Stroke.

Christine, Alex, Ian, Colin and the family wish to thank most sincerely relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy, cards, telephone calls and flowers received during their sad loss of Sandy.

Grateful thanks to the doctors at Laurencekirk Medical Centre, nurses and staff at Burnside Care Home for the dedicated care given to Sandy.

Special thanks to the Rev. Douglas Lamb for his kind words and comforting service,  Neil and Alison Ingram for all their kindness with the funeral arrangements, Donna and staff at the Crown Hotel for the lovely funeral teas.
